An utterly splendid piece of reporting. The Author does an outstanding job of laying the issue and all the facts surrounding it bare. This, to the reader's benefit. His precise prose makes for, dare it be said, a thrilling read. The bias-free line is maintained throughout. Chockablock with information. All of the commentary, sourcing links, and quotes line up beautifully. Not a word or thought is wasted. This is exactly the type of journalism that is to be strived for. From beginning to end the article is informative and interesting. An indubitably worthwhile and, some might even go so far as to say, necessary read. Five stars!

A terrific investigative look at the U.K.'s public health policy and response to COVID-19. It's a very balanced piece, shedding light with quotes on how the various sides of the policy debate feel the other side is mishandling the situation. Thanks to author Ed Yong for a very thoughtful and detailed look inside.
