Interesting. However, very spotty and streaky as to being informative. Lots of hyperbolic heavy-breathing about this, that, and the other. Really just a promotional piece for the referenced documentary which is conveniently airing this very weekend. Quelle surprise! Coincidence? No. A bit of tawdry cross-promotion masquerading as science reporting. Have a look but it's not really that worthwhile.

Wow, what a fantastic and interesting story. This article does well to present all the known facts while still making it a very readable, exciting piece. I love this kind of research and am glad that journalists at The Guardian are doing their part to get the story out there.

The article made me want to visit this place or, at least, watch the documentary (what makes me think it can be almost a good advertising for the site). I am really curious to see how the drawings are, how tall it really is, and the vibe of the place in general. I enjoyed reading the archeologist's points of view and knowing how the civil war in Colombia affects the negotiation to enter safely in this area. Good piece.
