While I appreciate the information in the article, the context seems to be lacking. Those who don't reach the end of the article might miss the craziness of 7yr old immigrants taking care of 2 yr olds with colds (ages weren't listed in the article). I feel compelled to comment on the content of the article -- this incarceration & negligence of children is disgusting racism. It's unacceptable, impossible to believe that nothing is immediately being done. I do appreciate immigration is a challenge for USA & border patrol. However, they shouldn't switch their methods of management without being fully prepared for the worst. These poorly executed (ie botched) new methods of tackling immigration are unacceptable and everyone responsible should be held accountable -- all the way up to the President!

The article provides good context on the immigration laws and precedents set in previous years, however it does take a clear stance again the Trump administration and Sarah Fabian, the career Justice Department attorney representing the administration. They repeatedly quote the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals judges responses to the situation, but do not quote any of Fabian's rebuttals. I would have liked to have seen more of Fabian's back and forth and wish the author had simply provided the facts and let readers decide for themselves.

Again writing an article for the Democrat party is typical of CBS. Making news out of no news is just pare for the course.
