Credible

An opinion piece by credible authors from a credible source. However, the opinion presented suffers somewhat from the occasionally hysterical nature of the writing.

Great Context

This is a fantastic article outlining exactly how the military industrial complex is at the root of America's greatest challenges. The co-authors provide great context as to the scope of the problem, how presidential candidates opposing the military industrial complex are being smeared, how U.S. military and Pentagon are the world's biggest polluters, and how our nation is perceived by other nations as the greatest threat to world peace. It's amazing how well this piece succinctly pulls together so many important points and calls-to-action while providing the layer of understanding many need to wake up to the crisis.

While this article is labeled as "opinion" in this case the author's opinion has detracted from the information presented. The author has a clear bias against Trump but also inserts valuable and contextual data such as global polls that state the U.S. is a leading threat to world peace. While I trust the information presented, the author loses trust because I do not need his opinion to form my own.
