While the author writes a completely opinion based article, he never makes the mistake of misleading the reader in thinking that his opinions are well sourced facts. The article reads smoothly, has some very interesting point around the weight of individuality when discussing problems of this caliber and draws some interesting comparisons between the scary russian FaceApp and Facebook.

Although I enjoyed this article because of its distopian message, most of the article is the author’s opinion with some Russia-phobia mixed in. There are some excellent points made about how certain problems cannot be fought at the individual level, and because of those insights, overall the piece is worth reading.
