A very insightful article full of quality sources and financial figures that help paint the picture of how the new health care bill could affect an already explosive opioid crisis. Author Rachel Roubein does a good job staying true to the facts. The opioid crisis and all other drug addiction crises should be treated as a public health problem, not an opportunity to be punitive and profitable for private prisons.
