This is announcement is covered well by The Grio and provides a lot of necessary context that reveals the larger story at play in that infamous halftime show's "wardrobe malfunction". I vividly remember watching as it happened live, turning to the rest of the Superbowl Party to tell them what happened, and no one believed me until the newspaper headlines the next day.
