Simple, to the point. Heat kept showing up in my feed after Michael Mann announced the book sequel, it seemed to spark some new interest from the public. The article doesn't delve into Mann's new book or his proposed prequel film, without Pacino and De Niro, but it paints a friendly picture of both leads in an event honoring their sharing of the big screen for the first time, so long ago.

Article includes an ad-lib scene by Al Pacino. Reading this article has me in the mood to watch this film after all these years. From reading the article, it appears there may be formerly edited scenes brought back in that will give certain characters and situations more depth.
