This is a great article that provides lots of useful context around a potential U.S. debt default. It does fail to explain times in U.S. history when we indirectly defaulted on the debt, such as Nixon taking us off of the gold standard and money printing to monetize the debt away, but it is a brave bit of reporting as few would consider publishing about a U.S. debt default- despite the clear risks which continue to grow.
