Dear reader, forgive that I am only getting around to reviewing this piece now. Firstly, the article is well-sourced and laden with information. Secondly, the Author does a good job of pulling all the threads, commentary and statistical data, into a nicely sewn line. Now, while assuredly, more than two years on from the original date of publication, there have been some present day realities which do not align. Nevertheless, this piece represents a good look-back opportunity and exercise for comparative purposes with the present day. Worth a read if only for that reason alone. As a brief and trustingly humorously taken aside with regard to plans, allow me to quote one of America's greatest athletes. "Everyone has a plan 'till they get punched in the mouth." - Mike (Iron Mike) Tyson

Contextual, plenty of sources with the ability do dive deeper, makes this author and article trusted. Although the first paragraph uses some more sensational wording like "falling like crazy", "extraordinary", "headed down the tubes", etc., it eases up as the reading goes on and is likely just an attention grabber.
