Great callout against the united front US politicians on both sides of the aisle seem to have against any meaningful reduction in overseas military conflicts, despite overwhelming public opinion against endless wars & constant campaign promises to bring the troops home. Article doesn’t investigate WHY this happens, but rightly calls out how often it does, including the recent failed vote to withdraw US troops from Afghanistan
